"Reasonably Polite" Bike Activists Make Bike Lane Safer

A group of bike activists calling themselves the "Reasonably Polite Seattleites" made some guerrilla changes to a downtown bike lane, adding plastic pylons to help keep cars at a safe distance. But unlike some other guerrilla activists, they made the changes easy to remove, and contacted the city letting them know what they'd done. It worked: the city initially took down the pylons, but eventually put them back up and sent the group a note thanking them for making a statement about road safety.
