Service Dog Graduates With College Student at University of Illinois

Bridget Evans just graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in community health and hospital administration, but it wouldn't have been possible without her service dog. That's why when Evans attended her graduation ceremony, her dog was with her, in a cap and gown. Born with spina bifida, Evans relies on her dog to grab her crutches, turn off lights, open doors, and pull her up wheelchair ramps. He also served as inspiration for the founding of Evans' Illini Service Dog Program.
