Here's a tumblr site of a journalist/photographer who captures both the mundane and extremes of everyday life in Africa: http://everydayafrica.tumblr.com/ We see so many images of Africa that glorify either the negative or traditional sides of the continent - when Africa is a place that's modern, full of contradictions, shifting, growing.. Hopefully, this can contribute to the former discussion about the way we talk about and see artists/designers/innovators from the Global South!
