At the intersection of art and agriculture is GOOD 100 awardee Fritz Haeg, whose book Edible Esates: Attack on the Front Lawn shows how bland, water-intensive suburban lawns can be overhauled in favor of beautifully functional fruit- and vegetable-bearing gardens. A second edition of Edible Estates is out this spring, and with it comes a host of new contributors, including another GOOD 100 awardee, Will Allen.

Tomorrow night, the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space in New York City invites Haeg, Allen, and a number of other luminaries to speak on the topic of urban gardening. Can't make it to the Big Apple tomorrow night? Don't worry, you can watch the entire talk online here. Should be revelatory.
