Teenager Builds Working Submarine Out of Drainpipe

What did you do in high school? This 18-year-old has spent his time designing and building remote-controlled vacuums, a home theater, miniature jet engines, and now, a fully-functional submarine. With a budget of just $1000, Justin Beckerman used a drainpipe, electronics, and waterproof glue to build the machine, which has a working communications system onboard. He's been testing the submarine in a local lake.
