The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From the Brown Tree

A Canadian fruit company has created a genetically modified apple that doesn't turn brown when sliced. Their positive takeaway? Now kids won't complain about brown apples and will eat their fruit! But, is this really what we want to teach kids? That brown apples are bad and should be avoided. It's a classic battle of convenient vs. natural. I personally think it's a slippery slope of raising kids on "perfect" food.. what's next? Bananas that don't mush?
