The pace of tech has changed the means by which we receive and deliver information. It's allowed us to create new forms of currency and reintroduce trading as a viable means of transactions. However, one major obstacle it has yet to change is cash. Contributing Wired editor, David Wolman, talks about the shortcomings of cash, from the monetary cost to print to the negative social impacts, especially as it relates to crime and corruption.
