The Coalition of Conscience: President Obama's March on Washington Anniversary Remarks

It's no secret that President Obama knows how to deliver an inspiring speech. That remained true for his remarks at Wednesday's “Let Freedom Ring” ceremony, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. As the President aptly noted, the march, "teaches us that the promise of this nation will only be kept when we work together. We'll have to reignite the embers of empathy and fellow feeling, the coalition of conscience that found expression in this place 50 years ago."
