It's important to know what materials make up the built environments in which we live. It's no secret that some of the materials in our buildings are toxic. There's a growing movement to get manufacturers to be transparent about the chemicals they use to make their products - in turn fueling the fight to remove all toxins from our built environment. The more consumers know and understand about the chemicals on the Red List, the more empowered they will be to advocate against the use of them.
