Spanish artist Lorenzo Manuel Durán uses leaves he collects as his canvases, and nature as his inspiration. It all started in 2008 when he saw a caterpillar eating a leaf, and decided he'd try his hand at "painting" with a scalpel. The result is a beautiful leaf-cutting technique that preserves the leaf as much as it enhances it. He uses a surgical scalpel and dental-pointed device that helps him remove the cut parts from the leaf. Here are his beautiful creations.
