As a college student, my procrastination habits usually lead to social media. While my friends and I hang out all the time, most of our communication is done through social media. The suggested assignments are ones that I will share with my friends because we are slowly spiraling into the stigma of the Millennial generation. We spend too much time online instead of socializing with each other.

I love connecting to other people but sometimes it's hard to make connections to others in college because everyone already has their group of friends. Assignment #3 will defiantly help me branch out to others so I can make meaningful connections.
Who knew that three simple tasks could lead to life-long connections!

Especially like the "build something" action—when you work on a project and the act of creating, it's like getting-to-know-you time is accelerated. And it's also meaningful time. It doesn't even have to be building—just making. I love to cook and have had friendships grow standing over the stove with a newish friend or friend of a friend that's come over for a dinner party. (Then the bonus is getting to enjoy the meal you've made afterwards!)

Yes to cooking as the best way to build stronger friendships! I just hosted a dinner party on Saturday for exactly that reason!

I love what you learned at Starting Bloc, Smiley. I'll have to do these exercises daily. It's hard to get away from making connections online when your work happens there!
