A new factory at an Australian university is going to test the idea of making bricks out of CO2 emissions. Carbon capture and storage isn't a new idea, but most plans call for putting it underground; this design will make it into a usable product for new construction. Not as good as reducing carbon emissions in the first place, but an interesting way to deal with emissions we can't avoid...

    Wondering how that affects the sustainability of the buildings built with the bricks? Is it just like recycling where it may not matter? Wish I knew more science to understand emissions.
