What Can We Learn From Gun Design?

Six years ago, GOOD Magazine published a photo of an AK-47 on the cover, and inside, Alice Twemlow asked whether the gun should be considered good design.

Now, inspired by that issue and Twemlow's work, design writer Barbara Eldredge has launched a new site dedicated to gun design, looking at the roles guns play in society and how they've shaped human thought. So far, she's included everything from guns shaped like Nike sneakers to assault weapons redesigned to get around gun control laws.
