As a "shark tourist" myself, I have to agree with this economic breakdown. And, while the process of creating shark fin soup is appalling, I think it's important to think about the way we source our meat here in the US (full disclosure: I eat meat).

I definitely agree Annalee! The way we source our meat is very important to our health and protection of the animals. I am a meat eater as well.

Does being a shark tourist mean swimming with them? If so props to you for doing so!!! Thanks for replying and sharing.
