NYC's Bank of America tower was the first skyscraper to ever get a LEED "Platinum" certification for sustainability. It was called the most sustainable skyscraper in the country. But now that it's actually in use, it turns out that it uses more energy, and emits more greenhouse gases, than any other high-rise in New York. LEED is one of the most popular environmental ratings, but it's seriously flawed.
