Ted is great. I'm glad it's changed our culture of adult learning, but ...
TED also spreads mis-information. Not intentionally, but sometimes the really early-stage ideas they discuss turn out not to work. The videos stay up. Each talk is one idea, but also one point of view. So sometimes ideas are presented as fact and opposing theories that may have more veracity don't get shared and people are left with the wrong impression.
Has anyone ever seen a TED retraction?
