I really enjoyed reading your article. The statistics are amazing!! I am curious as to what kind of work that the draft horses are performing to produce electricity? Are they spinning turbines? From what I read a “full 8-hour workday” for a team of Oxen wouldn’t be an unrealistic expectation of them, although, there are many differences between a horse and an ox. Another good thing about an Ox is that you can eat it. In your professional opinion, do you think that draft animals can potentially provide a worthwhile amount of supplemental energy if the cost to train them was minimal and they will eventually be slaughtered for food regardless of whether they are fenced in a feed-lot their entire lives or spend their time pulling a chain that spins a turbine prior ro slaughter?
