This technology could help us bridge a knowledge gap that we've created through migration to the cities and loss of agricultural abilities. We need to stop thinking that "Nature" (I think you meant God) "created" a "perfect system". Natural relationships evolve around what works and what does not, it is rather low-fi. We are part of this constantly evolving network of relationships and we can enhance the wellbeing of plants. Imagine urban agriculture or ecosystem recovering technologies in which plants that tell us if they need watering through a mobile app! This is very cool.
