I could not have read this at a more coincidental time in my life! After working for many years in the "corporate world" and letting my love of art drift away for many years because of being "too busy" to take time out for something I love, I recently made the decision to use my business degree in a manner that allows me to incorporate my love of art into my full-time job. Although it may be taking a plunge, and I find myself becoming more and more wrapped up in producing beautiful art, and expressing myself through my work, I also am finding that I am connecting on a more spiritual level with everything around me.
It is so true that when you focus on what you love, and let it kill you, life seems so much more satisfying regardless of the sacrifices you must make to partake in it. I have to say, that had I not already been trying to build a way that allows me to do what I love and let it kill me, I certainly would be after reading this article. What an inspirational piece!
