Blue is the new Green. (We live on a planet filled with water and we crave clean air, right?) Nevertheless, eco patriots converged in late October for Climate Action Day--think of it as a post-modern green-tinged Hands Across America. More than a 180 countries participated in the event to raise the level of awareness about the amount of workable CO2 in the atmosphere. (What would be 350 parts per million--we're currently hovering north of 380.) So, with an emphasis to lower that number, many in the San Francisco Bay Area partook in the day-long event. I participated in an inventive boat rally in the Monterey Bay.
