October 24th is the International Day of Climate Action! Join the students and faculty of UCLA and Loyola Marymount University in a Climate Change Demonstration on October 24th from 10AM-12PM in front of the Federal Building in Westwood!  And bring ALL of your friends!We plan to:
1.) hold a peaceful demonstration2.) take a picture with our bodies making the shape of "350"
3.) in addition to creating a massive "350 reasons for 350" list to show our Congress persons, President Obama, and the inhabitants of the world that we demand International Climate Action at the COP15 Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark this December
4) hear from three speakers--Cara Horowitz (Executive Director Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, UCLA), Dr. John Dorsey (Chair of the Department of Natural Science, LMU), and Dr. Brian Treanor (Department of Philosophy, LMU)--on the scientific and moral necessity of swift and powerful climate legislation
