A Six-Word Motto For America?

  • Posted by: Andrew Price
  • on February 4, 2008 at 7:10 pm

The Freakonomics folks have issued an open call for a six-word motto for America. The first five are pretty great. We also liked:

Number 55: “Not the only country in America”

Number 97: “Like Ancient Rome, with flush toilets”

Number 105: “We’re more machine than man now” (That’s a Star Wars reference, right?)

See them all here. “America: Love It Or Fix It” is also six words long. We like that one.

Thanks Zach.

Six words? “We Can’t. We’re out of blank.” Or “Hope and Change pays no bills.”
