A recent poll by the Fawcett Society shows that more than half of men and a third of women aren't aware of the severity of the pay gap in the UK. On Equal Pay Day, the day on which, because of the pay gap, women essentially start to work for free, we present a statistical snapshot of two very different regions of the United Kingdom.
