The first of May was supposed to be a massive boycott by immigrants, to show America what the economy would be like without the help of immigrant labor. It was to be called: "A Day Without Immigrants." Now, because of fears of being fired for missing work or suspended for missing school,
softer ideas for direct action are being floated. These include having a discussion about immigration at work. One time, Martin Luther King suggested that Rosa Parks sit in the back of the bus and have a discussion about segregation with the bus driver. Oh wait, no, he didn't suggest that at all.
