In our well-worn copy of the copy of Constitution, "freedom of the press" comes right in between "freedom of speech" and "the right to peaceably assemble" in good ol' Amendment #1. But, if you're using the government's flash cards to study to become a U.S. citizen, freedom of the press is the one part of the first amendment that just isn't so important. Surely, it's just a coincidence, since if the government was trying to inculcate new citizens to their view of civil rights, they would have removed more than just "freedom of the press," no?
