USSR kitsch has always seemed a little risky. There are probably some people in the world who find happy hipsters sporting the logo of the regime that brutalized and repressed them pretty offensive, which seems reasonable. Surely, a resurgence of Nazi shirts wouldn't be tolerated. Bearing that in mind (and, yet, completely ignoring it), check out this enormous Flickr gallery of old Soviet propaganda posters and advertisements. For all their faults, the USSR had their graphic design down pat, we'll tell you that much.
