Baseball isn't a topic that necessarily fits in with everything else written here. But Chuck Klosterman, writing in ESPN The Magazine, does an excellent job of summing up Barry Bonds and the steroid issue as indicative of larger issues in our society. And, if you're a media type, here is a take on why it's not really messed up that ESPN is running a reality series on Bonds without mentioning the steroid issue at all.
