Manila, Philippines recently suffered the worst flood the country has seen in 42 years. 240 people died and 430,000 lost were displaced.

We are looking for donors to purchase and donate LifeSaver Water Bottles that can turn even the muddiest, murkiest, virus-infested water into clean, safe drinking water. You can watch a demo from the company’s CEO Michael Pritchard here:

http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/michael_pritchard_invents_a_water_filter.html

Why is this effort so important? By giving the disaster stricken areas a water filter bottle that delivers 4,000 liters per bottle, people don’t have to WAIT for clean water. They can take flood water, river water, even toilet water and filter it to clean out all the elements and be able to get clean water immediately. It is very expensive to ship water but having just one bottle can save many lives and they don’t have to travel far to get water. They can now get water from any source.

LifeSaverUSA has partnered with a non-profit relief organization called HISG (HISG.org) whose relief team is currently on the ground in the Philippines helping people in need. HISG has reached out to LifeSaver to provide them with bottles but the issue is cost.

We need your help by purchasing/sponsoring these bottles for the relief effort. Every bottle purchased will be transported to the Philippines and delivered to HISG. HISG will then deploy their volunteers to provide clean water to much needed areas.

If you or someone you know can help, please do. One bottle can save lives of many. Please spread the word.
