This was, apparently, inspired by the role forgiveness can play in moving us forward. Eat your heart out, Jesus.

(Thanks, Jelly.)

I don’t feel that there is anything to forgive the President about. He has done his job admirably. He has restored the US to being a super power again, he has kept us safe over the past 7 years by taking the fight to our enemy. Employment reached record number and we had 6 positive years in the economy. How quickly we forget!!!

He messed this nation up so much. He thinks he is above the law. Everything he touches turns bad. Even many republicans voted for President Elect Obama. How can you forgive someone who has no remorse for what they have done.

G.W. and I are healing. (Well I think we should focus on George because this about him. Jesus and Muhammed are really fly dudes but this is not about them.)

I do not forgive him for not pardoning Ramos And Campean. I do not forgive him for allowing illegal aliens to run the roost in parts of this country.I do not forgive him for the drug pricing bill.I do not forgive him for bailing out the banks with no real concessions.I do not forgive him for going along with the Democrats on the ruse of “houses for everyone!”I do not forgive him for promoting the false economy. (see above).I forgive him for trusting Rumsfield’s work ethic as proof he’s up for the job.I forgive him for not spelling out the war and what was/is really going on.I forgive him for not using the line-item veto. (oh what a world it would be).I forgive him for not being as aggressive as he should have been in some circumstances.

Once he has confessed his crimes and served the appropriate amount of time, I will forgive him. But as long as he is unrepentant he will remain unforgiven and I will not mention his name in polite company. He has done more harm to America than Bin Lauden himself.

So, we’re placing all the blame for all the troubles of the world on one man. Yikes, that’s obsurd and anyone with half a brain knows the system is much more complicated. So we really don’t need to forgive anyone, except maybe ourselves for our own stupidity, bad choices and an inability to control our lust for greed!

To the person who wrote “We had 6 positive years in the economy” Those years were promoted with what poured the oil onto the economic crash and burn. The Clinton Admin started the whole, “Give, give, give, and give loans out. Loans are good.” Bush just continued the legacy. Loans were given out to people who could not afford them, and “voilia!” you have defaults and banks with more houses then they have the ability to maintain. Anyway, main point is, if a president does not take it upon himself to improve the country, truly make it into a better place, he has not done anything worthwhile.

I have nothing to forgive him for, and I think history might view him a bit differently than we do now(history always does).People see the president as the be all end all of American politics, but forget that we have a system of checks and balance. What about the legislative and judicial branches? He’s not all evil, he’s not a saint. He’s a human being, and not our worst president even.Signed, this Military wife.

Are you asking me if I forgive the puppet or the hand inside? I pity George Bush. He was under the delusion that what he was doing was right. He was conditioned by the same people who have conditioned the rest us.

He, without doubt, has been the worst Prez in the history of the USA. But, it’s time to move on and hope that the new Prez can undo some of GWB’s mistakes and bring our country back to a state of normalcy.

I wonder if he will ever realize the opportunity for good he gave up?  His work with Africa/ AIDS is commendable.  Overall I think he has failed himself and his country.  His actions are not mine to forgive, I hope we learn from them and do better in the future.  I think he has good in his heart but he should never have been a President and I do not feel bad that his life will forever be burdened with the deaths of our young, the ongoing wars and conflicts he contributed to and the hate many people feel for him.  You cannot blame all the issues of the world on one person but we sure can recognize a failure for what it is.  Good luck GWB, may the world treat you as you have treated so many.

The first comment about President Bush is correct.  He may not think/be a bad man, but his policies were disastrous, possibly catastrophic.  I did not vote for this spoiled, witless, incompetent malefactor.

George Bush does not need forgiveness. He did his job and did it well. The future will tell.

What is there to forgive? He is simply the 21st Century Hitler War crimes in Iraq, war crimes in Afghanistan, Support of killing almost anywhere in the world (When it does not affect the Gaz partners he has). The guy receives “revelations” and so did Hitler. We still did not forgive Hitler for the Holocaust but we should forgive the bush for a continuous man slaughter? I mean damn he even killed the economy !

Hell No I don’t forgive George Bush, Dick Cheney, “You’re doing a Heck of a Job” Brownie or any of the corrupt liars who worked in the administration or anyone stupid enough to vote for W.I think he will be the youngest ex-president to die out of office from an aneurism while chopping wood.

You people sound like ignorant, uneducated morons.
Especially the one who spelled Reagan wrong.
