Don’t Worry, They’ll Turn Up Eventually

  • Posted by: Andrew Price

On Defense Secretary Robert Gates’s list of things to keep track of: car keys, cell phone, Pentagon security pass, wallet, and—oh yeah—those fuses for Minuteman nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles…always misplacing those.

After the military accidentally shipped six nuclear missiles across the country and, more recently, mistakenly sent fuses for nuclear warheads to Taiwan, Gates has ordered an inventory of America’s nukes, which implies we didn’t already have one.

Thanks Craig.
