Dusting For Print

  • Posted by: Patrick James
  • on August 14, 2008 at 6:17 pm

BLDGBLOG just posted a number of beautiful photos from Library of Dust, David Maisel’s forthcoming photography book, for which Geoff Manaugh wrote an introduction. The photos—such as the ones of canisters used to house the remains of cremated patients—are hauntingly beautiful, and they illustrate a creepy world that few of us would desire to enter. Manaugh includes his essay in the post, which is long but certainly worth a read.
