Expat E-voting

Super Tuesday reinforced the expectation that the Democratic nomination will likely come down to the delegate vote at the party convention in August.

With so much on the line, it’s notable that the oft neglected Americans living abroad have a brand new, efficient manner with which to influence the race. For the first time, Democratic expats are voting online to divide up the 22 delegates (that act like representatives from a “global state” with about as much weight as Montana or South Dakota) they will collectively send to the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
