Global Electoral College

The Economist has an awesome interactive graphic on its website titled "Global Electoral College: What if the whole world could vote." Basically, it's a peek at who the others in this increasingly flat world want to see heading up our little patch of land. While a bird's eye view turns up a lot of Obama-blue, drilling down a bit uncovers some telling tidbits: The 43 voters from Iraq overwhelmingly favor McCain--by almost exactly the same margin by which the 104 Iranian voters prefer Obama. The eight voters from Georgia, which sat at the center of a global stir in August, are split down the middle. And if things don't work out this time around for the McCain/Palin ticket, they appear to be awful popular in Namibia.
