God Don’t Make Lonely Girls

If you haven’t been following the proliferation of confessional style videos constantly popping up on YouTube, congratulations. You probably have a very healthy social life and are successful at your job. However, some of us can’t help it. The latest brouhaha in the internet video world is about a girl with the handle LonelyGirl15. She is very (almost too) attractive, and makes very well-edited videos in which she discusses her life. People are pretty sure she is a marketing ploy. And they’ve taken the time to prove it. Seems emails from her come from the offices of the agency CAA. And, she also appears to be pretending to be some sort of satan-worshipper. The LA Times reports.

And, in other internet ephemera news, go inside the debut party of foobar site a MySpace idol turned Playboy girl. And check out the pictures, while you’re at it.
