Halloween is three days away, but if you're like us, the festivities will stretch all weekend. For this week's GOOD Books, we've given you plenty of thrillers to get into the Halloween spirit. From vampires to witches and murderous psychos to zombies, these books are bound to get you in frightened state of mind—or at least they provide plenty of fodder for costume ideas.

But since the weekend is only two days long and you've got plenty of parties to attend, we're offering the on-screen versions of our top five thrillers as well. Think of it as a pass to use the Spark Notes versions of these classics, just this once. If you're going for frights and things that go bump in the night, either the text or the visuals will do just fine. Trick or treat!
