To follow up on our earlier junk mail news, we also should tell you about a new company called Greendimes. What Greendimes does is, for $3 a month (¢10 a day), they constantly re-submit your name to the 50+ places that take you off junk mailers lists. This is because, even if you take the time to remove yourself from all these lists, you'll continually be put back on every time they get your name again. It's posed as an environmental issue (reducing the amount of paper sent), but let's be honest, it's more a quality of life issue. Either way, Greendimes might get the job done.
