Hello Health Adds New Doctors and Expands Network

  • Posted by: Zach Frechette

Hello Health, the private medical practice founded by a young Brooklyn doctor frustrated with the flaws in the health system (we’ve covered him before), had some big news today: they added eight new doctors to their network, the first such expansion. What does this mean? If you live in one of the eight cities—from New York to San Diego—where the new doctors practice, you can now benefit from their streamlined approach to health care (less paperwork, no office staff, more personal attention, and better use of technologies like IM, video chat, and email). At a time when the system seems so desperately in need of reform, it’s nice to see some people trying to make it work—for you and them.

This is super cool and exciting to hear. The whole plan is pretty amazing—from Jay Parkinson’s blog:

“Since August 11th, Hello Health has been a
private practice with a brick and mortar presence in Williamsburg
supported by our team of about 30 developers. They have been building
the Hello Health platform for the past year and a half with the
ultimate goal of enabling doctors all across America to use it to power
    their practice.”

Can’t wait until a doctor to two signs on in LA.
