You may have heard that the government has reapportioned money it gives to cities to help fight terrorism. Washington D.C. and New York City got particularly shafted, which makes sense, because there is historical proof that they are not terrorist targets. LA got more money, which is good, but Omaha does not need that 8.3 million dollars to spend on "emergency communications equipment." The best part, the funds were partially assessed by figuring out how many "national monuments or icons" were in a city. Guess how many they found in New York city. None. That's right. According to the Department of Homeland Security, there are no "national monuments or icons" in New York. Who are these people?
