HOMELESSNESS “IS” ABUSE

HOMELESSNESS IS ABUSE THE REALITY

Many people don’t understand, Homelessness IS Abuse, Yes, Social Abuse that is brought on by the lack of adequate services provided to Help Those In Need. This is with NO disrespect to present Social Service organizations or any other services provided. Our Government also doesn’t fully acknowledge the extent of the increasing Homeless population, this in part is due to continuing disaster situation. The individuals affected are blamed for their lack of effort for seeking help or trying to improve their life. This is not necessarily the problem. When a victim of Homelessness realizes the lack of adequate services and the continuous submissions of NO’S,CAN’T HELP YOU‘S, YOU DON’T HAVE, or YOU NEED, just to get the Help they need, their Hope is taken away, leaving them desolate with NO enthusiasm to continue seeking services that aren’t available;thus leaving them to evolve thru what they learn and what they know within the society of the street and the daily routine of what can be acquired thru the self determination of Survival. The bottom line is that there is NOT ENOUGH,Sufficient Services to handle the extent of Those In Need. And the Reality of how the system works is simply this,IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANY INCOME, WE CAN’T HELP YOU. UH HELLO, If they had any income they probably wouldn’t need the help. The other side of that line is the extent of stipulations, conditions and regulations brought on by bureaucratic BS!!,controlled by Government grants and budgets, leaving service organizations to only provide enough services bound within their entitlements. In the case of Those who unfortunately end up in the street due to various unfortunate circumstances,IF YOU DON’T HAVE A HOME OR AN ADDRESS, WE CAN’T HELP YOU. HELLO,WAKE UP, If they had a home or an address They probably wouldn’t be bothering You, Yea YOU, You who sit behind a desk with a roof over Your head, and food to eat in Your Home, heat to stay warm with or a place to take a shower. Homelessness is usually a question of various circumstances, and whether WE want to Honestly acknowledge it or not, circumstances sometimes Those affected don’t always have control over. There’s NO question that in many cases, Yes, drugs and alcohol are involved, Uh WELLL, LET’S HELP THEM SOLVE THAT PROBLEM. Let’s cut the BS and the conditions and stipulations that make recovery, the solutions and the escape from poverty unavailable to Those In Need.

The first question always is does an individual have the desire to seek improvement, Let’s create that desire,IT CAN, be accomplished. This is what WE, America’s Jam are reaching for, to Help Those In Need with a desire and to also increase the desire of those who do become reluctant. Yes this can be accomplished by providing a New Program with little condition and stipulation, Thru The Love and Concern for the Life of another Human Being. Combined help and support will ultimately help Us to achieve The Goal, by spreading the message of, TIME FOR A CHANGE IN HOW “WE” PRODUCE HELP FOR THOSE IN NEED…

That Idea of Combined effort is what created Our name, “AMERICA’S” Jam for the Homeless.

MY PRESENT PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Only in America, relevant to the situation.I am a recovering addict/alcoholic now 21 years clean & sober, and a disabled VeT. I worked most of my life and now struggle thru the rest.I live today with the passion and desire to help others and those in need, and now I’m in that very position myself. And not to say the least I’m literally up the creek w/o a paddle, due to the very same circumstances mentioned in the paragraphs above. For the latter part of my present Life,I was a construction truck driver driving dump trucks. In August of 2006,I had a heart attack and had 2 stints inserted. The doctors and the cardiologists suggested to not return to truck driving and to not attempt Anything, too physically demanding. I‘m not a lazy person, but after my past and present physical condition I know what my capabilities and limitations are. My education isn’t that of any great length, I spent some time in college, which increased and extended my knowledge of what I already knew, Addiction, Recovery, Homelessness and some general psychology. While in college I was tested and found out now documented having a learning disability, which stunted my progress for finishing college. The present disability situation started out with a state of N.J. disability claim. During the short time after my heart attack I applied for a VA pension. The state disability ended only a few months after I started collecting, and the VA pension took its place. The income from either was never received during the same period of time. So with someone’s misconception at the VA, they assumed I was receiving 2 disability incomes at one time, so they took my pension away. Before the heart attack while still working I was receiving a 10% service connected disability for an injury I had while in the service. So now not only did they take away my disability pension, they also took away my service connected disability too in efforts to have me repay money they think I owe them. You don’t need a degree to figure this one out. I’m broke, financially and emotionally with NO present income with an unviable outlook for the near future. Living on disability is bad enough, plus I’m stuck in a dysfunctional relationship that I legally can’t get out of, (bad case of too much Mr. nice guy). This of course added problems to the finances. So now comes the major hardship, due to my present situation, I’m also now being evicted from my home, my utilities were shut off at one point(which I managed to have restored somehow). And I’m presently living on a Hope and a Prayer. Thank God for the helping church organizations that provide food. SOOO,ONLY IN AMERICA, I’ve made all the necessary phone calls to try to acquire some assistance for myself and for the sake of someone being Honest, they confirmed all mentioned in the paragraphs above, by telling me that due to the fact that I HAVE NO INCOME, that ANY of the Social Service agencies, WON’T HELP ME!!. So at this present moment I‘m in check, at a standstill. And for this reason this is why I‘ve been working for some time on creating a BETTER, non-profit service organization to help Those In Need to escape from this particular situation and the binds of poverty that I am now in myself. So how does Our present system work, WITH NO INCOME,NO HOME OR ADDRESS, THERE IS “NO” HELP.And after a Disaster, Assistance is Only available for a limited amount of time,(Their Time) without sufficient programs to help disaster victims to rebuild their Life.Does this answer the question, WHY ARE THERE HOMELESS AND PEOPLE ON THE STREETS OF AMERICA. But STILL, People ask WHY… HELLO, TIME TO GET HONEST, FACE THE REALITY AND MAKE THE CHANGE.(Again with NO disrespect to present Social Service organizations or Any other services provided)WE DO NEED A BETTER SYSTEM. There IS a BETTER WAY, AND I HAVE CREATED IT, That’s Why I NEED, THOSE WHO GIVE A *&%$#&* To Help Me Produce It.
