Homicide Map

We hope you’ve taken the time to read Sam Slovick’s piece on Skid Row in Los Angeles. As something of a corollary, you might check out this Los Angeles Times homicide map–which visually charts murders based on a number of filters (age, ethnicity, location, cause of death). Sure, it could be read as fear-mongering. But we prefer to think of it as knowledge-mongering, albeit scary knowledge.
