Put This On is a beautifully-produced, thoroughly-entertaining web video series that weaves short vignettes from the fashion industry with tips for dressing in a way that won't bring shame upon your family. Highlights include an interview with Paul Feig, film and TV director who thinks wearing a suit to work has helped his career, a tour of Pasadena-based denim manufacturer Rising Sun, and a master shoemaker who outfitted both John Wayne and the Starship Enterprise. The shots of designers working with their hands makes fashion feel raw and exciting, and advice for buying and maintaining clothes that last is responsible and smart. It doesn't hurt that it's laugh-out-loud funny, too.
