How Would You Spend $611 Billion?

  • Posted by: Andrew Price

$611 billion. It’s the cost of the war in Iraq if Bush’s latest request for cash is approved.

With that much money we could convert all the cars in America to ethanol nine times over. Or pay for 14 million years of tuition, room and board at Harvard. Or feed and educate the world’s poor for seven years.

Sigh. See the slide show at Boston.com.

What project would you undertake with $611 billion?
