Yesterday, after some maneuvering and filibustering, a bi-partisan group of senators melodramatically announced that they had come to a compromise on immigration. But, today the bill lies un-passed because it's time for Senate Spring Break and they couldn't stick around a moment longer to get the bill done. And now, it probably won't pass because, while the Senators are on vacation, people will have time to actually read the bill. Your government at work, folks.
