Incomprehensibly WasTED

The artist Chris Jordan—you might remember his vastness-of-trash photography from GOOD 005—works with numbers of such enormity that it’s hard to believe they’re real. But they are—and they reveal just how rapacious our collective consumption has become. Watch his TED talk below, and try to comprehend just how much we’re trashing the place.
