In 1976, the French filmmaker Claude Lelouch mounted a camera atop a Ferrari and had a racecar-driving friend speed Mercedes (and later overdubbed with a Ferrari's engine) and sped through the streets of Paris at a breakneck moderate pace. The results are staggering.

Maybe it's the thrill of a first-person perspective. Maybe it's the superior growl of the Ferrari's engine. Or maybe it's the sultry glow of the world's most beautiful city at dawn. Whatever it is, nothing I've ever encountered makes me feel more like James Bond than I do while watching this.
