This year's ASME Digital Ellie for video went to The Oxford American for “SoLost,” a series shot by New York photographer Dave Anderson exploring people and places across the South.

He found Po' Monkey's Juke Joint, Madame Lynn dressing up, Wayne White going thrift-store shopping, and William Eggleston playing the piano.

All the videos are worth watching, but I found this one of the Gulf coast—after the spill and after the media circus left—a truly remarkable take on the region's resilience.
