Happy April 15. Back during World War II, we knew how to sell the public on the importance of taxes. This propaganda video from Disney is pretty heavy. I suppose the threats were a little more palpable back then, though. "Taxes to improve the electric grid" doesn't have the same urgency as "Taxes to bury the Axis!"

Why is the duck who makes the case for taxes Scottish? Apparently there's a stereotype (this is news to me) that Scottmen are savers. And it seems that this Scottish duck became the model for Scrooge McDuck.
