It Is, Apparently, Impossible To Be Green

A while back Vanity Fair announced they would be putting out a "green" issue in mid-April. To complement the ridiculously wealthy and famous people with vague environmental agendas, they would also print the entire run of the issue on recycled paper. Now, they've eliminated the actual "green" part of the green issue. Oops. The piece gets into the future of media using recycled paper and the environmental cost of printing Vanity Fair:

"2,247 tons of pulp, up to 4,331,757 pounds of greenhouse gases,13,413,922 gallons of wastewater, and 1,744,060 pounds of solid waste."
