All we remember from last week is that Paula Abdul was assaulted, Suge Knight filed for bankruptcy, and there was some juicy gossip about Page Six. But apparently in other, more boring, news, indicted aide "Scooter" Libby revealed that President Bush was the source of the leak of the National Intelligence Estimate three years ago. Now two prominent Republican Senators say Bush may have some 'splaining to do. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) wants to know "precisely" what the President and Vice President discussed regarding the report, and Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) thinks clarification might be necessary. Thank god somebody noticed.
