Lieberman: Pro Choice

  • Posted by: Morgan Clendaniel

Senator Joe Lieberman, Independent from Connecticut, and the Senator that allows the Democrats to control the Senate by a one-vote margin, is waffling about what party he likes more. Whoever is nicer to him gets to keep him! His office is filled every day with candy and cards from Democrats and Republicans, desperate to win the popularity contest.

Because he’s not part of it. The Time Magazine arcticle that is linked to says: Lieberman says leaving the Democratic Party is a “very remote possibility.” Too late asshole, you already got voted out. To be a member of a party, voters in said party have to nominate you. Lieberman ran as an intependant because no self respecting Democrat in Connecticut supported him. This is like someone who gets fired from a job saying telling their boss “I’m not sure I want to be fired, I’ll have to think about it and get back to you.” People like Lieberman support my anti-career-politician sentiments.
